New KiLiNK Turkish Film Pix Posted on MySpace

As my hard-core fans know, I appeared in an amazing 11 films in Turkey, mostly in the 1960s, where I was known as KiLiNK! In them I battled such luminaries as Superman, Frankenstein and Mandrake the Magician... Turkey didn't care too much about violating copyrights!

So, as a post-Thanksgiving treat, here's another heaping helping of left-over Turkey! I have just created a new album on my MySpace page with over 20 rare photos and posters from these films, some of them lost to cinema history! You'll find a female KiLiNK, a western Django KiLiNK... even a disco KiLiNK, among others!

To learn more about these films, including a complete listing of all the releases and video clips, skulk on over to the KiLiNK Section at goSadistik.com or click on the image below!

Three of these films have been released on 2 DVDs (the rest are considered lost) and they are the best ones. You can order these DVDs, with English subtitles and packed with extras and other Turkish trailer treats, from the fine folks at Onar Films and if you mention my accursed name, SADISTIK, you get 10% off! Talk about a steal!

Listen to 2 New Songs from the DSK Doc including MORRICONE!

Now that MySpace has allowed 6 songs on their pages, we have added two new incredible songs to the DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL SOUNDTRACK MUZIK PAGE!

"The Killing Way" is another spooky track from the prolific El Reverendo M (be sure to hear more of his music on the Reverendo's MySpace page)!

EL REVERENDO M (right) at THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL movie premiere in Italy this month along with its producer ALESSANDRO ZANOTTI (left) and actress CATARSINA TRANSFERT (center). Photo by Luca Di Giorgio

The other track is not actually on the DSK Soundtrack but is very related! It is the Mambo-flavored "Un Flirt Per Estate" (A Summer Flirtation) as sung by Rosario Borelli. Borelli was the director of all the original Sadistik photo novels and also a film actor, singer and photo novel star before he turned to directing photo novels. Backing Rosario musically is none other than Ennio Morricone, well before he reached international stardom recording the soundtrack for "A Fistful of Dollars" (the seminal spaghetti western film starring Clint Eastwood and directed by Sergio Leone).

Actor/Singer ROSARIO BORELLI was the director of all the SADISTIK photo novels but did not play the title character as rumored. The real actor was shrouded in mystery and his identity is revealed for the first time in THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL film!

Stay tuned for more news about the Diabolikal Super-Kriminal Soundtrack! Within the next week or so we will be posting a new music video for the song "Beware: Sadistik!" by the Charles E. Hall Band and directed by SS-Sunda. And soon we will have news about the soundtrack CD to be released in Italy!

DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL World Premiere November 1 in Italy!

The long-awaited incredible 100% TRUE documentary about THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL is premiering at the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest in Ravenna, Italy on Thursday, November 1st, 2007! The feature length film, directed by SS-Sunda, concerns the secret origins of the internationally infamous King of Crime known variously as Killing, Satanik, Kiling, Kilink and, in America, as Sadistik! It includes exclusive interviews with many of the personalities responsible for his reign of terror, from photographers, editorial staff and the actors that helped bring his stories to life! You will also witness startling new footage of the Diabolikal One doing what he does best... malicious mayhem! Some very interesting new music has also been recorded for the film which will soon be released on CD. Actress Erna Schurer (from STRIP NUDE FOR YOUR KILLER and other Euro horror classics), a femme fatale from the Sadistik photo novels, is in the documentary and will make an appearance at the festival along with the actor who played Sadistik... his true identity revealed for the first time ever!!!

The movie will be screened along with other top horror films at Italy's premier horror film festival, rubbing cinematic shoulders with the Italian debut of the acclaimed films HATCHET and DAYWATCH (the chilling Russian sequel to Nightwatch) and Lloyd Kaufman's POULTRYGEIST. Other films shown will be THE SLEEP OF DEATH - THE SLEEP OF THE REASON, Uwe Boll's SEED, UGLY SWANS, SIMON SAYS, THE FERRYMAN, LIVING AND THE DEAD, AUF BOSEM BODEM from Austria, THE CRY, SUMMERS SCARS and LE MADRI NERE (THE BLACK MOTHERS) among many others!

There will also be a Short Film Competition with jurors including the American Sadistik biographer Mort Todd and Valerio Evangelisti, writer of the popular Nicolas Eymerich novels and Nostrodamus trilogy.

This is the 5th edition of the Ravenna Nightmare Film Fest, held in the town where Dante, author of the Divine Comedy, lies in his tomb. Previously films shown have been by John Carpenter, Werner Herzog, John McNaughton, Miike Takashi, Jess Franco, Takashi Shimizu, Uwe Boll, Vincent Cassel, Jean Rollin, with guests like Dario Argento, Bryan Yuzna and Lamberto Bava. It will be held from Tuesday, October 30th to Saturday, November 3rd, 2007.

If you're in Europe or anywhere on Earth, there is no excuse not to attend! If you can't however, there are talks about distributing THE DIABOLIKAL SUPER-KRIMINAL to a theatre near you!

"Beware: Sadistik" New Tune about your Favorite Super-Kriminal!

Comicfix has just recorded a new song for the Diabolikal Super-Kriminal Dokumentary titled "Beware: Sadistik!" The song was written and performed by the Charles E. Hall Band and was debuted publicly at the Sadistik Book Release Party in New York City last July.

Listen to the song at The Diabolikal Super-Kriminal Soundtrack Muzik Page on MySpace now!

The Diabolikal Super-Kriminal introduces the Charles E. Hall Band including bass player Dr. Valérie Sauvé.

The song is intended for the documentary's closing credits and a video for the tune is being created by the director of the documentary, SS-Sunda.

"Beware: Sadistik!" was produced by Mort Todd, Charles E. Hall and Matt Verdery, who also engineered the powerful song. Within hours of finishing the engineering, Matt had to leave on tour with his band Heavy Trash with Jon Spencer on a whirlwind European tour. (Mort and Matt have also co-directed a video for their latest album "Way Out" that will be released soon. To listen to the tune click here)

The King of Crime confers with Charles E. Hall.

To accompany writer and lead guitarist Charles E. Hall for the recording, Matt helped raid members of the band The Bosch (which he also produced). This included Dr. Valérie Sauvé (bass and vocal), Andrew Raff (sax and organ) and Holt Richardson (drums, vibraphone).

Stay tuned for exciting news about the world premiere of the the Diabolikal Super-Kriminal Dokumentary and Soundtrack CD coming up!

Long time no blog! The Diabolikal Super-Kriminal has been very busy this summer seeing that all his nefarious international schemes come to fruition! But finally here are a few photos from the SADISTIK Book Release Party last month!

A fiendish time was had by all with quite an amazing turnout that enjoyed the musical stylings of the return of the Charles E. Hall Band and the infamous Edison Rocket Train.

No, the King of Crime did not sing, but the tune "Beware: SADISTIK" by the Charles E. Hall Band was premiered and soon will be recorded! Beware, indeed!

Now we are aware many other photographers chronicled the event, so if you have any pics, send them in or suffer the penalty!

If you were one of the many millions unfortunate to miss the event, enjoy some exclusive photos!

ROB ZOMBIE makes me an Honorary Lord of Salem!

Perhaps you have heard dark whispers concerning the mysterious LORDS OF SALEM... But possibly not! Even though their return has been long prophesized, their dread purpose has been kept secret from the public. Rob Zombie serves to channel these unholy hosts into our reality using the medium of sound and God help us when they do come back!

But that's not likely for "God hates the Lords of Salem," but "no one can destroy them!"

That said, I was proud to become an Honorary Lord of Salem. Part of that distinction includes using my initiation photo as their profile pic for a short time on their official MySpace Page! For historical record, here is the picture:

10% OFF Cult Turkish DVDs: KiLiNK, evil Spider-Man, Turkey Superman

As you no doubt know, in Turkey I was a major movie star under the name KiLiNK! You can read more about my 11 amazing films on my KiLiNK page at goSADISTIK.com! These films were long considered lost, and most still are!

Fortunately, ONAR FILMS has reconstructed the first three films on DVD. Here's a clip from KiLiNK: STRIP & KILL

You can see more KiLiNK Klips at my KiLiNK page!

But ONAR is not just about, KiLiNK! If you've checked out the video mini-history of Turkish films on my blog then you're aware of how outrageous Turkish films of the 1960s and 70s are... and Onar's got them! Here's a clip from 3 Dev Adam, a Turkish film starring the Mexican El Santo teamed up with the American Captain America against an evil Spider-Man!

How about a black-suited Superman in Iron Fist The Giants are Coming?! Dig that crazy rock 'n' roll soundtrack!

But the best thing about all these super-rare cult classics is that if you order directly from ONAR FILMS and mention SADISTIK you can take 10% off your bill! This is your chance to get some completely weird films from an alternate reality that will really flip you out!

Satanik "Diabolik" Striptease!

Though in France I am known as SATANIK, there is an Italian female comic book character with the same name (in France she is known as Demoniak). She was an ugly chick who takes a potion to become beautiful... and evil!

Read more about Euro Super-Kriminals by clicking on the image above!

In 1968 an Italian movie was made about her, with the beautiful Magda Konopka as Satanik. As a horror movie it is sometimes weak but to spice up box office they added a "Diabolik" element to the film and the movie posters. As seen in the clip below, Magda does a striptease in a Diabolik-inspired outfit.

The movie is worth watching and has a great soundtrack. To buy the DVD or Soundtrack, click on their respective images below!

Turkish Pop Cult Documentary... with KiLiNK!

Mondo Macabro has produced a great documentary on Turkish Pop Cinema featuring the Diabolikal Super-Kriminal, KiLiNK! Turkish films of the 1960s & 70s were inspired by American comic books and movie serials and produced with a lot of enthusiasm if not a big budget.

Part 3 focuses on the masked men and KiLiNK in particular, who started the whole craze with interviews from director Yilmaz Atadeniz and actress Mine Soley. Dig all the cool posters, clips and photos of lost movies from an alternate reality!

Morricone in New York debut and More Musical News!

The legendary composer Ennio Morricone made his triumphant American public premiere at New York’s Radio City Music Hall on February 3, 2007 to a packed and appreciative audience. Following the debut of his 9/11 inspired piece “Vocci del Silencio” at the United Nations the day before, the Maestro treated the Radio City crowd to select tracks from his most famous film scores.

The cover to the Morricone Concert Program on eBay until 2/20.

Though some hardcore fans may have been disappointed that he didn’t play some of his more obscure horror, crime and adventure film music (sorry, no Danger! Diabolik), it was an awesome experience to see a chorus of 100+, along with the excellent soprano Susanna Rigacci, belt out the themes from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. Pianist Gilda Buttà also thrilled the audience with her ivory tickling and when finished, the Maestro came back for three encores.

(Above) An amateur hand-held video of "The Ecstasy of Gold" from the Radio City concert. (Below) A professional live video of the same song from Munich in 2005.

Morricone seemed to enjoy the audience despite his hectic New York schedule. Along with the UN and Radio City shows, he put up with a lot of interviews though many were cancelled. A friend interviewing him for Guitar Player magazine found him a difficult subject as he was told through an interpreter that he “won’t talk about guitars.”

Pushing 80, it seems Morricone would rather be appreciated for the classical music he has been composing for over 50 years than his over 400 TV and film soundtracks. His themes have become legendary signatures used by a variety of international directors with no end in sight (he has just signed on to Brian DePalma’s new Untouchables sequel), so perhaps his other compositions will be appreciated as much in the future.

Meanwhile, a new Morricone tribute album will be released this month with music by such diverse artists as Metallica, Yo Yo Ma and Celine Dion on a CD entitled “We All Love Ennio Morricone.” Click on the cover image for more information and to pre-order this future classic!

Also in New York, the Film Forum is running a Morricone Film Festival until February 22nd. Morricone also receives an long-deserved award at the Oscar ceremonies this year.

And of course, there is a Diabolikal Super-Kriminal konnection with Morricone: Besides both having Italian origins, Morricone co-composed and recorded a pop tune called “Saïda” for director Lucio Fulci’s film I due della legione straniera (1962) with Rosario Borelli, who went on to direct all of the Sadistik photo novels.
